Zen Alarm Clock MP3 & CD's | Futurebuddha.net

These MP3s are meant for playing in your Digital MP3 Player, computer or burn them to a CD. Just set it and you will be gently awakened with a steady rhythm of a bell, chime or gong, that increases from nothing in volume to full sound over a period of time, allowing you to wake up gently rather than a jarring buzz or beep you would normally get from an alarm clock.

I use an iPod now as my alarm clock, (which is a feature built into iPods and many other MP3 players), and have just ripped my CDs to High Quality MP3s for the same enjoyment but also, have all my different versions available. A straight up, Zen Alarm Clock, can't do that...

Little Note: The MP3s available here are new masterings from the source the CDs were made from, not just ripped from the CDs we sell.

Because I wake up energized, I have also learned to use them as a timed meditation session. 30 to 5 minutes, whatever my schedule can accommodate.

All tracks play a continuous repetition of the bell, chime or gong sound until the last 5 minutes when the speed of the strikes increases to help make sure you awaken.

This slow awakening will allow to to wake up energized and ready to start your day. Or you can use these tracks as a meditation tool for a timed session to get yourself energized.

I went looking for a product like this myself and never found one this is why I created it and personally use it. I hope it works as well for you.

Please listen to the samples. Some of the sounds are very true to the sound of large bells or gongs and may not be able to be recreated by some smaller speakers.

Please use the samples from the CDs page to check the sounds. They are exactly the same except the Wake Up tracks have been combined on the MP3 versions.

I was getting tired of the MP3's I use on my phone to wake me up each morning. I went in search of those automated Zen Alarm Clocks. But after some research it seems they are poorly made and don't last much longer than a couple years. So my search turned to MP3 versions instead. I searched high and low until I found Futurebuddha.net which is exactly what I was looking for.

They have 10 min, 20 min, 35 min MP3's or Cd's. Each "song" is only $0.99 USD. I think this is better than any APP on a mobile device. Because you can use this more freely.

I really like the Large Tibet Prayer Bowl the best. The Zen OM Bell sounds really neat, but I need to find some larger speakers to hook my phone or MP3 player to since it's a very low deep sound and isn't very loud on my small phone speaker.

It starts out barely audible for the few couple minutes, then gets louder. The sounds are spaced apart mm maybe 10 - 15 seconds if I had to guess. Then when there is 5 minutes left on the "song", the gongs get closers together and a little louder. Not annoying mind you. It works very well.

What's nice is each gong isn't just repeated digitally. So it feels more natural as well. As far as rating the actual MP3's. I give them 5 out of 5.
